Job summary

Archi-Tech Network in London is seeking a talented and motivated technical designer to support our façade design and development team. You will work on high-profile projects with leading architects, developers, and contractors, developing coordinated façade solutions from concept through construction and producing detailed drawings and specifications.

A degree in architectural engineering or related field and 3+ years’ experience in façade design are required.

Qualifications

Degree in architectural engineering, architecture or related discipline.
3+ years’ experience in façade design, technical design or façade documentation.
Strong understanding of façade systems and building envelope principles.
Experience developing detailed drawings for curtain walls or façade systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and proactive teamwork.

Responsibilities

Develop coordinated façade design solutions with client, architect, and consultants.
Develop façade projects from concept through construction; produce drawings and specifications.
Prepare high-quality 2D drawings and technical documentation.
Coordinate façade details for buildability and manufacturability.
Perform site inspections and review mock-ups; prepare technical reports.
Represent the company in workshops; manage client relationships.
Quality assurance of own and others' work.
Contribute to internal R&D initiatives.
