Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a hands-on Façade Designer to join their office-based team in Coventry. You’ll develop detailed curtain walling and glazing designs from concept through construction, collaborating with architects, contractors and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have practical knowledge of curtain walling systems, CWCT guidance and UK building regulations, with AutoCAD proficiency (Revit a plus). This role offers steady projects and clear progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Façade Designer, Cladding Designer or similar.
• Strong understanding of curtain walling and glazing systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit beneficial).

I’m currently working with a specialist façade contractor looking to appoint a Façade Designer to support their growing pipeline of curtain walling and glazing projects.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on with technical detailing and working closely with a team in an office-based environment.

About the Company

My client is a well-established contractor within the façade and glazing sector, delivering bespoke curtain walling, structural glazing and cladding solutions across a range of commercial and residential schemes.

They are known for producing practical, buildable designs and maintaining a strong focus on technical quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The Opportunity

This is a fully office-based role (five days a week), ideal for someone who values direct collaboration with colleagues, quick decision-making and close involvement in the design process.

You’ll play a key role in developing façade designs from concept through to construction, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
