Architecture Social is seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant to join its growing Design team, focusing on facades, curtain walling and building envelope across London and the South East. The role offers progression toward Part III and exposure to design development through construction documentation.

You will work on technical drawings, detailing, and coordination on live projects, with mentoring from experienced facade professionals and opportunities to develop skills in curtain walling,

Qualifications

• Part II qualified Architectural Assistant.
• Looking to commence Part III.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Interest in facade engineering, curtain walling, glazing or building envelope design.
• Good technical detailing ability and understanding of construction drawings.
• Experience working on RIBA Stages 4 and 5 projects.
• Portfolio demonstrating technical project work and construction information.
• Experience working within a UK architectural practice.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Assist in producing technical drawings and construction information using AutoCAD.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections and detailed facade drawings.
• Support projects through RIBA Stages 4 and 5.
• Assist with curtain walling, cladding and glazing detailing.
• Support interface coordination between facade systems and the wider building structure.
• Coordinate information with architects, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Attend design team meetings, technical workshops and site visits.
• Assist with technical specifications, submissions and project documentation.
• Maintain accurate drawing records and document control.
• Participate in CPD activities and ongoing professional development.
