Job summary

Bennet & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to oversee full commercial and contractual aspects of envelope remediation projects. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and client-facing coordination across multiple live sites.

Based near Portsmouth with nationwide travel, you will contribute to cost control, risk management, and accurate reporting while benefiting from hybrid working and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in façade, cladding or external envelope-related surveying.
• Strong technical, contractual, and commercial understanding.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work across multiple live projects.
• Based within a commutable distance of Portsmouth and willing to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial and contractual responsibility for multiple envelope/cladding remediation projects.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, CVRs, and project cash flows.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, and final accounts.
• Negotiate contract terms and manage risk and cost exposure.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with project progress.
• Liaise with project teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
• Frequent site visits across the UK with up to 2 days per week in the Portsmouth office.
