Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director to lead its façade engineering practice in the UK, guiding a growing team and delivering high‑quality, buildable façade solutions across diverse projects. You will mentor staff, win new work and shape the strategic direction of the façade capability.

You’ll work with clients, architects and multidisciplinary teams to ensure innovative, compliant designs that meet performance, sustainability and cost targets. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, architecture or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven leadership of façade projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of national and international façade projects across sectors.
• Provide senior technical leadership balancing performance, buildability, time and cost.
• Advise clients and multidisciplinary teams on façade design and delivery.
• Mentor engineers and support career development within the team.
• Drive business development, bids and client relationships.
