Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd is seeking Fabricators and/or Welders for its Banbridge sites. You will interpret drawings to fabricate carbon and stainless steel pipe assemblies, and weld to exact specifications while maintaining quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers in-house training, pension, life assurance and a focus on continual improvement within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting shop drawings accurately
• Ability to fabricate carbon steel and/or stainless steel pipe
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding is desirable
• Attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-moving environment

Responsibilities

• Turn shop drawings into precise carbon or stainless steel pipework
• Operate MIG, TIG and stainless welding equipment producing accurate welds
• Maintain high quality workmanship and right-first-time standards
• Assist with cross-training and cover for team when needed
• Work with Quality Control to troubleshoot and ensure deadlines are met

Skilled Fabricators to turn shop drawings into precise, high-quality pipe assemblies. If you can fabricate it, we want to see it. Ideally you will be experienced in carbon steel and/or stainless steel pipe but if you aren’t we can train you

Attention to detail — you’ll read and interpret drawings, fabricate to exact specifications, and maintain top-quality standards in a right-first-time environment

• You’ll operate MIG, TIG, and/or stainless steel welding equipment producing accurate welds on carbon and stainless steel across various diameters.
