Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial in Kingswinford is seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder (MIG Welder) for a stable day-shift role. You will fabricate, weld and assemble steel components to a high standard, using drawings and specifications.

This Monday to Friday position runs 7:00am–3:00pm with no weekends and is paid £14.00–£17.00 per hour DOE. The role suits someone who thrives in a busy engineering environment and can work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication and welding environment.
• Strong MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good measuring and marking-out skills.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding and general fabrication.
• Fabricating and assembling steel components.
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Cutting, grinding, drilling and preparing materials.
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
