Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting a Fabricator Welder for a busy manufacturing facility in Bedford on a long-term contract with temp-to-perm potential.

You will carry out TIG welding and fabrication repairs around the site, working to high standards while supporting maintenance teams and equipment reliability.

Ideal candidates will have strong TIG welding and fabrication skills and the ability to work independently within a maintenance-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder
• Strong TIG welding and fabrication skills
• Experience repairing or modifying existing equipment, machinery or structures
• Good practical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, production or another industrial environment would be advantageous

Fabricator Welder Bedford

Location: Bedford

Contract: Long-term ongoing contract and temp to permanent

Shift: Monday to Friday, days

We are currently recruiting for a Fabricator Welder to join a busy manufacturing facility in Bedford on a long-term ongoing contract.

This is a hands-on, maintenance-focused role rather than a traditional fabrication position. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs, modifications and fabrication work around the site, helping to keep equipment, machinery and site infrastructure operating safely and effectively.

The Role

As a Fabricator Welder, you will be involved in:

• Carrying out TIG welding and fabrication repairs around the manufacturing site
• Repairing and modifying existing machinery, equipment, and structures
• Fabricating replacement parts and components where required
• Working from measurements and existing components rather than primarily producing new builds
• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance-related fabrication work

About You
