Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Fabricator Welder for a well-established engineering business in Telford, Shropshire. The role involves fabricating and welding, reading workshop drawings, and maintaining quality and safety in a busy production environment.

You will earn £33,000–£35,000 per year (DOE), work 7:45am–4:30pm Mon-Thu and 7:45am–12:15pm Fri, 37.5 hours, with overtime paid at time and a half and double time on Sundays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder in heavy industry or engineering settings.
• Welding and fabrication skills with ability to read workshop drawings.
• Certificate/qualification in Welding, Fabrication or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fabrication and welding tasks to high standards meeting production requirements.
• Read and interpret workshop drawings and instructions accurately.
• Work safely in a production environment following health and safety procedures.
• Prepare materials for welding by measuring, marking, fitting and setting components.
• Perform basic checks and quality reviews on completed work and address issues promptly.
