Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is recruiting for a Fabricator / Welder in Loughborough for a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position. The role focuses on structural steel fabrication and MIG welding for long-term national clients.

Hours are 07:15–16:15 Monday to Thursday and 07:15–12:15 Friday. Salary is £16.50 per hour with overtime paid at time-and-a-half and double time. A strong understanding of welding codes and drawings is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience fabricating structural steel.
• Experience MIG welding.
• Excellent understanding of welding codes and standards.
• Experience of using oxy-acetylene kit, plasma kits for burning and jig work.
• To be able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Proven experience in carrying out full penetration butt welds and multi-run fillets overlayed.

Salary: £16.50 per hour (plenty of overtime available paying time and half and double time).

As a Fabricator / Welder, you will work with structural steel metalwork for our client's long-term national clients.
