Job summary

Kinetic plc in Burnley is seeking a time-served Welder/Fabricator for a permanent night shift role (Mon-Thu 22:00–07:30). You will weld using MIG/MAG and TIG, read engineering drawings, and work to established quality standards.

Ideal candidates have strong experience with welding equipment, can work alone or in a team, and are comfortable with data entry and using measuring tools. A competitive salary and benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

Are you a time served Welder / Fabricator looking for your next permanent job in Burnley?Have you got knowledge of Welding Equipment both MIG/MAG & TIG, and be proficient in assigned welding techniques.Are you time served with plenty of experience?Happy working a night shift, Mon - Thurs only 22.00 - 07.30?Would a salary of just over £41500 be OK for you (£21.01 per hour)?Can you travel to Burnley for work with ease?If you have answered "yes" to all the above questions then this role maybe perfect for you, suitable candidates will be called and given additional information on the position and company.

Duties of this position will include;

• Ability to use own initiative to work as an individual or as part of a team unsupervised.
• Ability to operate computer equipment for data purposes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and engineering quality plans.
• Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment.
• A methodical approach to systems and understanding of the importance of standards and established/agreed systems of work.
• Able to make decisions based on experience, have confidence to act and make changes within given boundaries.
• Good personal organisation under pressure from time, internal and external customers.
• Time management skills.
• Good verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to read and understand written planning and follow verbal instructions.

Ideal candidates will be time served or have equivalent qualifications Knowledge of Welding Equipment both MIG/MAG & TIG, and be proficient in assigned welding techniques Prior experience of operating robot welders would be advantageous. Seam weld experience would be preferred. Experience of using laser equipment is desirable.
