Job summary

RNN Group in Worksop is seeking a Fabrication & Welding Lecturer to deliver hands-on training at North Notts Campus with some offsite work. The role is a temporary full-time position (37 hours/week) running Sep 2026 through Jun 2027, with a closing date of 26 October 2026.

You will bring industry expertise, support learners through practical assessments, and help shape the engineering curriculum while benefiting from subsidised travel, holiday pay, and pension options.

Qualifications

• Hold a teaching qualification or working towards it.
• Hold a level 3+ professional qualification in Fabrication & Welding.
• Experience of teaching students/apprentices.
• Be well organised and able to manage your own workload.
• Assessor's award desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training to students advancing through Fabrication and Welding qualifications.
• Ignite student potential by turning raw talent into industry-ready fabricators and coded welders.
• Shape and enhance the college's engineering provision through the curriculum.
• Support learners by addressing obstacles with high-quality teaching and assessment.
• Model excellence as students navigate workshop challenges toward careers.

Salary : Up to £26.48 per hour plus holiday pay (dependant on experience and teaching qualification)
