Job summary

RNN Group, located at North Notts Campus in Worksop with offsite working, is seeking a Fabrication & Welding Lecturer to deliver hands-on training and shape the engineering curriculum. The role offers up to £26.48 per hour plus holiday pay, on a temporary basis from September 2026 to June 2027, with 37 hours per week.

Applicants should have a teaching qualification or be working towards one, hold a Level 3+ qualification in Fabrication & Welding, and have prior experience teaching students or

• Hold a teaching qualification or be working towards it.
• Hold a Level 3+ professional qualification in Fabrication & Welding.
• Have experience of teaching students/apprentices.
• Be well organised and able to manage your own workload.
• Assessor's award is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training to students advancing through Fabrication and Welding qualifications.
• Ignite student potential by turning raw talent into industry-ready fabricators and coded welders.
• Forge the future curriculum by directly influencing and enhancing the College's engineering provision.
• Overcome learning roadblocks by offering top-tier, supportive teaching and assessment to every individual.

Salary: Up to £26.48 per hour plus holiday pay (dependant on experience and teaching qualification)
