Job summary

North Notts College in Worksop is seeking a dedicated lecturer to deliver hands-on Fabrication and Welding training to apprentices and students. The role is temporary, full-time (37 hours per week) and paid up to £26.48 per hour plus holiday pay, depending on experience and teaching qualification.

Working for the RNN Group via North Notts College, you will help progress learners from entry to industry-ready welders, influence curriculum, and support learners through assessments while maintaining

Qualifications

• Hold a teaching qualification or be working towards.
• Hold a level 3+ professional qualification in Fabrication & Welding.
• Experience of teaching students/apprentices.
• Be well organised and able to manage your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training to students advancing through Fabrication and Welding qualifications.
• Ignite student potential by turning raw talent into industry-ready fabricators and coded welders.
• Forge the future curriculum by directly influencing and enhancing the College's engineering provision.
• Overcome learning roadblocks by offering top-tier, supportive teaching and assessment to every individual.
• Be a master role model for students navigating workshop challenges to achieve career excellence.

Temporary September 2026 - June 2027
