Job summary

Manpower is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder for a permanent, full-time role in the UK. You will fabricate and weld mild and stainless steels, read engineering drawings, and operate fabrication machinery to produce components to high quality standards.

You will work on MIG, TIG and MMA welding within a manufacturing environment, ensuring adherence to production targets while maintaining quality and safety.”

Qualifications

• Fabrication and welding experience required.
• Must be able to read engineering drawings.
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld mild steel and stainless steel components.

Our client, a leading engineering manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join their production team.

The Role

• Fabrication and welding of mild steel and stainless steel components
• MIG, TIG and MMA welding
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Operating fabrication machinery including guillotines and press brakes
• Grinding, finishing and quality checking completed products
• Working to production targets while maintaining high quality standards

Requirements

• Previous fabrication and welding experience
• Skilled in MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
