Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor for a well‑established engineering business in Christchurch. You will own the fabrication schedule, drive recovery on overruns, and ensure quality and delivery are on track. Salary around £45,000 per year.

You will be the go‑to on the shop floor for late jobs, responsible for recovery plans, NCR/ECR closeouts, and hitting OTD and quality KPIs through proactive decisions and efficient resource use.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing schedules and works orders under pressure.
• Track record of driving OTD and quality performance.
• Experience handling NCR and ECR processes.

Responsibilities

A well-established engineering business is looking for a Fabrication Supervisor to take ownership of the fabrication schedule, drive recovery on overrun jobs, and keep quality and delivery on track. £45,000.

You'll be the one the team turns to when a job's running late and needs sorting fast.
Every schedule, every kitting run, every NCR closure comes back to your call.
This is a role where your decisions on the floor genuinely shape the outcome, not just tick a box.
