Job summary

Great Basin Industrial seeks a skilled Fabrication Machinist to join our team in Plymouth, UT. You will operate CNC and manual machines to fabricate metal parts from blueprints, ensuring high quality and adherence to specifications.

You'll set up equipment, inspect parts, and collaborate with fabrication and engineering to optimize processes while maintaining a safe, productive work environment and proper documentation of production activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fabrication Machinist or similar role in oil & energy or heavy industrial fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of CNC operation, programming, and manual machining.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machining equipment to fabricate metal parts per drawings.
• Set up machines including CNC and manual tools for drilling, cutting and shaping.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and conformance to specs.
• Collaborate with fabrication and engineering teams to optimize processes.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety protocols.
• Document production activities and report progress to supervisors.
