Job summary

Success Talent in London is seeking a Fabric Technologist to advise on fabric standards, sustainability, and care labelling while collaborating with product development and technical teams. The role focuses on ensuring quality and regulatory compliance across woven and knitted fabrics.

You will manage fabric test reports, support on‑time delivery, and oversee supplier certificates and audits, including GRS and RWS, in a fast‑paced fashion business environment.

Qualifications

• In depth woven and knitted fabric production and testing process knowledge.
• Confident in implementing robust and efficient fabric management systems.
• Understanding of sustainable fabric standards (Textile Exchange, BCI) and verification (scope certificates, TC).
• Familiarity with REACH regulations and global substances legislation.
• Experience working with fabric manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fabric is quality managed to meet performance standards and market regulations while maintaining critical path dates.
• Troubleshoot production issues regarding fabric characteristics, construction, lead times, colours, and provide solutions for bulk production.
• Manage test reports and implement corrective actions when fabric performance falls below standard.
• Maintain database of fabric suppliers, keeping certificates and conducting audits.
• Manage all fabric sustainability requirements and verification (GRS, RWS).
