Zusammenfassung

TFG London, including Whistles, is seeking an Established Garment Technologist to ensure woven product quality, oversee supplier ethics, and drive fabric development. You will lead fit sessions, mentor staff, and collaborate with design, buying and supplier teams to uphold high standards across trousers, jackets, dresses and jumpsuits.

You’ll play a key role in garment construction, grading and testing, while supporting AQL inspection and repair guidance across the distribution network.

Qualifikationen

• Strong understanding of garment construction within the woven separates space.
• Experience leading weekly fit sessions and expertise in garment construction, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of supplier compliance and ethical practices.
• Strong communicator with design and buying teams and suppliers.

Aufgaben

• Lead weekly fit sessions and demonstrate deep expertise in garment construction, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Oversee onboarding and ethical management practices with suppliers.
• Collaborate on fabric development, evaluation and testing.
• Coach and develop the Assistant Garment Technologist in the department.
• Conduct regular store visits and competitor research to stay informed about market trends.
• Share expertise with colleagues on AQL inspection and repair guidelines for woven products.
