CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Bluewater Shopping Centre, Dartford, Kent, is seeking a Fabric Technician to join the team. The role covers reactive and planned maintenance across interior and exterior fabric, with a 5am-2pm shift and overtime available.

You will carry out site surveys, prepare method statements and risk assessments, perform carpentry, painting, tiling and basic repairs, liaise with client representatives, and ensure works are completed safely and on time.

Formación

• Fabric, carpentry or civil works experience.
• Experience in high-profile work environments.
• Current UK driving license.
• PC literate.
• Good customer relationship skills.
• Able to interpret technical drawings/instructions.
• Able to organise self to manage tasks and materials.
• Experience of H&S procedures (COSHH, Working at Heights, Risk Assessments).

Responsabilidades

• Respond to reactive works within the team.
• Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
• Liaise with client representatives regarding maintenance & repair tasks.
• Undertake site surveys & produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works.
• Repairs to internal and exterior floor/ wall coverings.
• Basic carpentry, dry lining repairs, painting, tiling.
• Responsible for interior and exterior painting.
• Responsible for other building and installation works as required.
• Hold a full clean UK driving license (optional).
• Accountable for all interior and exterior Fabric maintenance.
• Utilise PDA to complete works, key communications & updates.
• Complete reactive, PPM jobs & projects in a timely manner.
• Undertake minor projects works.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
• Undertake all reasonable tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager.
• The role is proactive and dynamic in dealing with issues while working safely within competencies.
