CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a Fabric Tech.

As a CBRE Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for proactive and reactive building maintenance and repair services for client contracts. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, supporting preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Support clients courteously, focusing on customer care.
2. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities.
3. Paint and label production pipework, walkways, and floors.
4. Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
5. Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
6. Support engineering staff and respond to client inquiries or complaints.
7. Ensure systems operate efficiently.
8. Follow procedures to solve straightforward problems.
9. Complete all relevant paperwork promptly.
10. Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for tasks.
11. Maintain personal development and skills.
12. Keep storage areas safe and tidy.
13. Assist with routine plant checks and site PPMs.
14. Carry out all client moves and changes as required.
15. Perform painting, decorating, and DIY tasks to meet service levels.
16. Escort subcontractors and review RAMS for safety compliance.
17. Record site activities, near misses, and risk assessments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED, trade school diploma, or equivalent with 1-2 years relevant experience; valid driver's license required.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting over 50 lbs, climbing, standing, etc.
• Ability to follow routines and standards.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
