EQUANS is seeking a Fabric Technician (Flooring) for a permanent position based in Liverpool, working on the Knowsley Schools contract. The role involves 37.5 hours per week, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
This role entails undertaking or overseeing all fabric works and statutory compliance across Knowsley school properties. It is a customer-facing position with tight deadlines, requiring excellent communication skills and task prioritization. Responsibilities include reactive and proactive maintenance of building fabrics. A full driving license is required, and a vehicle will be provided.
ONC/C&G or equivalent in flooring installation, welding, and maintenance. Knowledge of risk assessment, safety procedures, and health & safety standards. Ability to interpret plans and work to method statements.
Experience with various flooring types, including vinyl, carpets, and basic fabric maintenance. Ability to price small projects and perform PPM and reactive work.
