Gold Group is seeking a Fabric Operative in Brighton to join a large Facilities Management organisation. The role focuses on fabric maintenance across university buildings, including painting and plumbing, with responsibility for planned and reactive maintenance and updating the CAFM system (Maximo).

Candidates should have a strong fabric maintenance background, be safety-minded, and able to work well within a team. The position offers a competitive salary and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabric maintenance including painting and decorating.
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance (PPMs).
• Safe and reliable with good record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting, plumbing, and fabric repairs across university buildings.
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks as directed.
• Maintain accurate records and update the CAFM system (Maximo).
• Follow Health & Safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
