Job summary

Invictus Group in Dartford is seeking a pragmatic Fabric Engineer / Fabric Handyman to perform general maintenance across our site. You will tackle day-to-day repairs, painting, carpentry and keep facilities to a high standard with practical hands-on approach.

The role offers a stable, long-term opportunity with on-site work Monday to Friday, paid overtime at enhanced rates and a supportive team environment with training and progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fabric, handyman, maintenance or building role.
• Hands-on approach with good problem-solving ability.
• Basic painting and decorating experience.
• Basic carpentry skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude to learning.

Responsibilities

• General fabric and handyman maintenance across the site.
• Basic painting and decorating tasks.

Fabric Engineer / Fabric Handyman

Location: Dartford Salary: £30,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm Overtime: Paid at 1.5x Monday–Saturday and 2.0x Sundays & Bank Holidays

We are looking for a Fabric Engineer / Fabric Handyman to join our team based in Dartford. This is a great opportunity for a practical, reliable and hands‑on individual looking for a stable role with excellent overtime opportunities, training and career progression.

The Role

As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out general building and fabric maintenance across the site. You'll be a practical all‑rounder, dealing with day‑to‑day repairs and ensuring the building and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
