Base pay range

This is a fantastic opportunity with a large Engineering Maintenance Service provider. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Handyperson/Fabric Technician to work on a large site in central London. The position is permanent, offering a salary of £35,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with excellent career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out general building fabric repairs and maintenance
  2. Perform minor carpentry, painting, plastering, and patch repairs
  3. Adjust doors and locks, replace tiles, and make good repairs
  4. Support the wider maintenance team as required
  5. Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations
  6. Complete job sheets and site reports as necessary
Candidate requirements:
  1. Proven experience in general building and maintenance repairs
  2. Relevant trade qualifications such as City & Guilds, BTEC National Diploma, or NVQ Level 2 in a trade or Building Maintenance, Carpentry & Joinery are preferred
  3. Excellent client-facing skills are essential
  4. Ability to pass a DBS check
