Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting a Fabric Engineer to join a government building based in Westminster. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance on a static site, with tasks including painting, plasterboard, door hardware and basic plumbing.

You should have a solid background in commercial building maintenance and be client facing. The position offers a basic salary up to £34,000, overtime, training, and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of facilities maintenance.
• Experience working in commercial building maintenance is essential.
• Client-facing experience is beneficial.
• Fire doors experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a static site.
• Paint and plasterboard work.
• Change locks and basic hardware maintenance.
• Minor repairs to office furniture and fixtures.
• Assemble small equipment/flat packs.
• Install/repair blinds and basic plumbing.
• Maintain and update site log books.
• Assist the on-site maintenance team as required.

Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider - Government Building – Westminster – £34,000 + Package - No callout

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Westminster has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a Fabric Engineer based in a government building in Westminster. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this static site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. Any experience working with fire doors or government environments is advantageous, but not required. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £34,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work

• Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00
• No callout
• Painting and plasterboard.
• Changing locks.
• Minor repairs to office furniture
• Putting together small equipment/ Flat packs
• Kick and push plates.
• Install/ Repair blinds
• Basic Plumbing.
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on-site
