Kier Group plc is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to join the MoJ Mobile South team across our sites. You will carry out planned maintenance, diagnose faults, install plant and equipment, and ensure safe, compliant work with accurate paperwork.

You’ll join a collaborative team that values safety, reliability and community impact, with opportunities to develop practical skills and contribute to efficient facilities management.

Formación

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience in maintenance and repair work.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance and minor repair works.
• Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant equipment.
• Install new plant and equipment when required.
• Work safely in accordance with work instructions and method statements, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Multi-Skilled Technician, you'll be working within the MoJ Mobile South team, supporting them in delivering customer-focused, cost-effective maintenance services. Your day to day will include:

• Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance and minor repair works
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on systems and plant equipment
• Installing new plant and equipment when required
• Working safely in accordance with work instructions and method statements, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas

• You have technical training such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
• You have demonstrable experience in maintenance and repair work
• You're collaborative and enjoy building effective relationships with colleagues and clients
• You're reliable and focused, delivering what you promise with attention to detail
• You're committed to working safely and ethically, caring about the communities we serve
