Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Multi Skilled Technician for a mobile facilities support role across Midlands client sites. You will perform PPM, test, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical installations, plant and equipment, and support mobile engineers as needed.

You will maintain accurate work order records using PDA and Windows systems, deliver responsive service to building occupants, and stay flexible across trades to support the wider maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Relevant City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in mechanical or electrical systems.
• Experience in planned and reactive maintenance within commercial buildings.
• Legionella awareness and strong Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• IT skills to complete work orders via PDA and Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications: applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• -Relevant City & Guilds / NVQ qualifications with experience in mechanical or electrical systems
• -Good knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance within commercial buildings and statutory compliance
• -Legionella awareness and strong understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental policies
• -IT skills to complete work orders via PDA and Windows-based systems
• -Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties
