Job Title and Location

A Wirral Primary School located in Birkenhead is looking for a F2 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team for at least one academic year starting in September 2025.

Your new role

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking dedicated and experienced SEN trained Teaching Assistants to support a challenging Foundation Stage 2 (F2) pupil.

You will work closely with a pupil in Foundation Stage 2 who requires additional support due to behavioral and learning challenges. Your responsibilities include implementing individualised education plans, providing one-on-one support, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

1. Support the pupil in accessing the curriculum and achieving learning goals.
2. Implement strategies to manage challenging behavior effectively.
3. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to meet the pupil's needs.
4. Monitor and record the pupil's progress and adapt support as necessary.
