Job Opportunity: F2 1:1 Teaching Assistant

A Wirral Primary School located in Birkenhead is looking for a F2 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team for at least one academic year starting in September 2025.

Your new role

The successful candidate will support a F2 pupil on a 1:1 basis. The pupil struggles to engage with learning in the classroom, so the role will involve a lot of 1:1 support both in and outside the classroom. The pupil will require reassurance and encouragement to engage with learning.

What you'll need to succeed

An understanding of ASD, the ability to be assertive, and experience supporting in a 1:1 capacity are essential, particularly within EYFS. The role is full-time.
