Job summary

Alpine Formula One Team seeks a Vehicle Performance Student Placement for a 1-year period in Enstone. You will analyse telemetry, develop simulation tools and contribute to race strategy and car setup decisions.

You’ll work with race engineers, performance analysts and simulation specialists to optimise performance across conditions, while gaining hands-on experience in a high-performance F1 environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Aerospace or Motorsport Eng and seeking a penultimate-year industry placement.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with an interest in vehicle dynamics.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analysing telemetry and simulation data to understand car performance.
• Support development and validation of vehicle models and simulation tools.
• Contribute to setup optimisation and race strategy analysis; prepare performance reports for race weekends and tests.
