Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is offering a 1-year Process Engineer Student Placement based in Enstone, starting July 2027. You will work with Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Stores, Manufacturing and Engineering to identify improvement opportunities across operational processes and to analyse data for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for an Engineering degree (e.g. Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Automotive, Aerospace, or a related discipline)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement
• Knowledge of manufacturing, quality, process improvement, or supply chain principles would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Analyse data from multiple sources to support operational reviews and decision-making activities
• Support the development, implementation, and auditing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across Supply Chain and Manufacturing functions
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the outcomes of operational and supply chain improvement activities
• Participate in quality, efficiency, and supply chain improvement projects across the business
• Develop an understanding of products, components, and manufacturing processes to support operational activities
• Identify process gaps and support the development of solutions that improve quality, efficiency, and operational performance
• Contribute to the design of processes that reduce risk, minimise cost and lead times, and maintain high-quality standards
• Prepare, maintain, and implement process documentation and operating instructions.
