Job summary

Aston Martin Aramco invites undergraduates to join a diverse placement programme at our UK campus. You will contribute to real F1 performance challenges across multiple engineering domains, gaining hands-on experience in simulation, data analysis, and rig testing.

Working closely with engineers, you will develop practical skills, learn cutting-edge methodologies, and contribute to shaping the performance of our Formula 1 car through a structured development plan and collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field.
• Confident analysing data, solving complex problems and collaborating across teams.
• Excited by the challenge of contributing to the performance of a Formula One car.
• Eager to learn, adaptable and proactive in taking ownership of tasks.
• A clear and positive communicator, with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Work on the analysis of simulation data to understand and improve car behaviour.
• Support projects across multiple groups, refining methodologies and developing insights.
• Develop practical engineering, simulation and analytical skills across simulations and tests.
• Contribute to tool and method development for performance optimisation.
• Assist in race and test events with data-driven analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with engineers across the team to influence car concepts.
