Job summary

Red Bull Technology offers 12-month student placements in the Aerodynamics Department, enabling penultimate-year students to work across Aerodynamics Development, Systems, Model Design, Surface Design, Performance, CFD Tools, Thermal, AeroScience and Experimental projects.

You will interact closely with engineers across disciplines, contribute to wind tunnel and CFD activities, and develop problem-solving and communication skills while supporting practical car development.

Qualifications

• Penultimate-year student pursuing a degree in Engineering or related field.
• Interest in aerodynamics and pursuing a degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report aerodynamics data from wind tunnel, CFD and track.
• Contribute to aerodynamic design of the car and to CFD/WT workflows.
• Design and maintain CAD models for aerodynamics components and test rigs.
• Support wind tunnel programs, testing and documentation of methods.
• Develop tools and methodologies for aero data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with aerodynamicists, software, mechanical and electronics engineers.

Education

Penultimate year student

Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automotive, Motorsport, Electrical, Systems Engineering, Maths, Physics or Computer Science
