Job summary

RBH is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager for our Liverpool hotel to lead all food and beverage operations, drive guest satisfaction and commercial performance, and develop a high-performing team.

You will oversee restaurant, bar, room service, meetings and events, ensuring brand standards and exceptional guest experiences while delivering profitability and growth for the business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or Senior Food & Beverage Leader within a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading and inspiring the Food & Beverage team across restaurant, bar, room service, meetings and events operations.
• Delivering exceptional guest experiences that exceed expectations and drive guest loyalty.
• Driving revenue growth and profitability through effective commercial decision-making and upselling opportunities.
• Managing labour costs, payroll productivity and departmental budgets.
• Developing innovative food and beverage offerings, promotions and guest experiences in collaboration with the Executive Chef and Commercial Team.
• Ensuring all food and beverage outlets consistently achieve brand standards and RBH expectations.
• Managing stock control, purchasing and supplier relationships to maximise profitability and minimise waste.
• Driving guest satisfaction results through proactive service leadership and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recruiting, training, coaching and developing departmental colleagues to create a highly engaged and motivated team.
• Conducting regular team briefings and performance reviews to support colleague development.
• Ensuring all food safety, health & safety and licensing regulations are consistently maintained.
• Working closely with the Sales and Events teams to maximise conference, banquet and event opportunities.
• Analysing business performance and preparing reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Leading by example during service and maintaining a visible presence across all outlets.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER

As Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for leading all food and beverage operations across the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences whilst driving revenue, profitability and team engagement. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or Senior Food & Beverage Leader within a hotel environment.
• Strong operational knowledge across restaurants, bars, meetings & events and guest dining operations.
• Proven experience of delivering financial targets and improving departmental profitability.
• A passionate leader with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop successful teams.
• Outstanding guest service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing stock, purchasing, labour costs and productivity.
• Knowledge of food safety, licensing legislation and health & safety requirements.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and commercially focused environment.
• A proactive, energetic and solutions-focused approach.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and key business periods as required.
