Job summary

The Imperial Hotel Blackpool is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our restaurant, bar, room service and events, delivering exceptional guest experiences across all outlets. You will recruit, coach and develop your team, ensure consistent service standards and take ownership of guest satisfaction.

You will manage stock, ordering, rotas and budgets, drive profitability, monitor health and safety, and work closely with the Head Chef and hotel management to maintain seamless

• A passionate and experienced Food & Beverage professional with leadership experience in hotel or hospitality.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, confident on the floor in fast-paced environments.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, labour costs, stock control and profitability.
• Proactive problem-solver who can make informed decisions while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Food & Beverage team, delivering exceptional guest experiences across all outlets.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, bar, room service and events with consistent service standards.
• Recruit, coach and develop your team with regular training and performance feedback.
• Own guest satisfaction, resolve feedback, and ensure memorable experiences.
• Work with Head Chef and hotel management to ensure seamless communication and operational excellence.
• Manage stock control, ordering, inventory, and cost-effective purchasing.
• Create and manage rotas, control labour costs and support the team.
• Monitor revenue, payroll, stock and departmental budgets to improve profitability.
• Ensure food safety, health & safety and licensing regulations are met.
• Drive sales through menu knowledge, promotions, upselling and guest experience improvements.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

• Lead and inspire the Food & Beverage team, creating a positive culture that delivers exceptional guest experiences across all outlets.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, bar, room service and events, ensuring service standards are consistently achieved.
• Recruit, coach and develop your team, providing regular training, performance feedback and opportunities for growth.
• Take ownership of guest satisfaction, confidently resolving feedback and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and wider hotel management team to ensure seamless communication, efficient service and operational excellence.
• Manage stock control, ordering and inventory, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and minimising waste.
• Create and manage rotas in line with business levels, controlling labour costs while ensuring the team is fully supported.
• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, payroll, stock and departmental budgets, identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Ensure all food safety, health & safety and licensing regulations are fully compliant, maintaining the highest standards across all F&B areas.
• Drive sales through menu knowledge, promotions, upselling and continuous improvement of the guest experience.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• A passionate and experienced Food & Beverage professional with proven leadership experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
