Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is partnering with a 4-star hotel in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, to recruit a Duty Manager. The role focuses on the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel, with emphasis on coordinating F&B and events, staffing, and guest safety.

On-shift meals, parking, and employee support are included as part of the package. You will lead a team, ensure high standards of service, and contribute to a culture of excellence in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' supervisory or operational management experience within a high-quality hospitality or food & beverage environment.
• Proven track record of proactively managing daily shift operations, maintaining departmental standards and coordinating cross-departmental communication.
• Strong leadership qualities: reliable, adaptable, approachable, and aspirational in team development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of hotel operations with a strong emphasis on food & beverage and events.
• Manage floor coverage and monitor staffing levels against business demand.
• Ensure function rooms are set meticulously to function sheets and standards.
• Maintain high standards of guest safety and service throughout the property.

Package

• £32,000 per annum.
