Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Wishaw, United Kingdom, is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to join the Meetings & Events team. You will welcome guests, deliver a memorable experience, and confidently discuss our drinks menu while upselling where appropriate.

Training is provided if you’re new to hospitality. You’ll work across outlets to ensure smooth operations, in a supportive, team‑driven environment at a landmark resort.

The Belfry Meetings And Events

The Meetings & Events team at The Belfry brings our stylish event spaces to life, hosting everything from intimate board meetings to grand weddings and large-scale corporate events. With a dedicated team of over 150 people ensuring every occasion runs seamlessly, delivering unforgettable experiences. Being part of this team means working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same.

Salary

The base hourly rate for this role is £11.80 to 12.71 per hour, plus service charge.

About The Role

As a food and beverage assistant, your duties include all those of a waiter or bartender:

• To welcome all guests a polite and friendly manner
• To deliver a great experience from beginning to end
• To confidently talk about our drinks menus, offer upsells and enthusiastically
• Cleaning and good hygiene practices are a large part of this role
• To work across any of the outlets that are in need of assistance to ensure the smooth running of the resort as a whole.
