Job summary

Crowne Plaza Glasgow is seeking a friendly Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team on an occasional worker basis, earning £12.71 per hour. You will help prepare and serve meals and drinks, keep dining areas tidy, and ensure guest satisfaction with a high standard of service.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is important, with opportunities to learn and grow within our hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
