Job summary

The Abbey is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Assistant for our Restaurant, Bar, and Meeting & Events spaces in the UK. This part-time role requires energy to serve guests with a warm, professional approach and to work shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

You’ll join a busy team dedicated to delivering great service, upselling where appropriate, and maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness across the venue.

Qualifications

• Previous experience serving food and drink in a customer facing role.
• Commitment to great customer service with excellent communication skills.
• Flexible to work on a rota basis, mornings, evenings and weekends as required.

• Providing a warm welcome and delivering excellent levels of service to our customers.
• Assisting with the service delivery for weddings, events and parties.
• Helping our customers to enjoy their experience by using your knowledge of our products & services.
• Being proactive in upselling all aspects of the department.

We are looking for positive and friendly individuals to join our busy Food & Beverage Team, predominantly working in our Restaurant or Meeting & Events department.
This is not a full time position; hours will be according to business needs and will include working shifts between the hours of 06.30 - midnight and at weekends.

Our Food & Beverage Team is at the heart of our business, providing excellent levels of service of food and beverages to our guests in our Restaurant, Bars and Meeting and Events spaces.
