Job summary

Hotel du Vin in Cambridge is seeking a Breakfast F&B Assistant to start guests’ day with a warm welcome from 6:30am. You will work closely with the kitchen and management to ensure a smooth breakfast service, with well-presented tables and attentive guest care.

Open seven days a week, with varied shifts; opportunities for development and apprenticeships are available to help you progress in hospitality.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
• Hospitality experience can be helpful but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and start their day with an inviting breakfast service.
• Assist kitchen and management to ensure smooth service and well-presented tables.

As a Breakfast F&B Assistant, you'll play an important part in starting our guests' day on the right note. Working from 6.30am, you'll provide a warm welcome, deliver excellent service, and help create a relaxed and enjoyable breakfast experience. You'll work closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure service runs smoothly, tables are well presented, and guests receive everything they need.

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and need team members who can work a variety of shifts and days. While this role focuses on our breakfast service and early starts, contracted hours and shift patterns can be discussed at interview.

Previous hospitality experience is helpful, but it's not essential. What matters most is a positive attitude, a passion for delivering great customer service, and a willingness to learn.
