Job summary

Badgerbrook Primary School is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to support learning in EYFS and work alongside the class teacher to run interventions. You will help create a positive learning environment and assist in guiding pupils’ all-round development.

The role involves supporting learning under the direction of a teacher, contributing to individual and group activities, and helping with assessments and feedback to ensure progress within a collaborative school team.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Level 2 qualifications in maths/numeracy and English/literacy or equivalent competency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities for whole class and groups.
• Support pupils under teacher supervision, provide feedback on engagement and progress.
• Help maintain a safe and supportive learning environment in line with lesson plans.
• Promote pupil self-reliance, self-esteem and emotional resilience.
