Job summary

Farrington's School in London is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years provision, working with children aged 2.5 to 5 years. You will support a dedicated teaching team, contribute to high-quality play-based learning and assist with early literacy and numeracy development.

The role requires a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years, strong communication skills, IT literacy, and a flexible, reliable approach in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
• Experience with children aged 2.5–5, ideally in nursery, Pre-Reception or Reception.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and how young children learn through play, routine and interaction.
• Support children’s communication, language, early phonics and early number development.
• Willing to support personal care and daily routines where required.
• Organised, flexible, reliable and committed.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT literate using Microsoft Office.
