Job summary

The Education Network are working with a school in Crook to recruit an EYFS Teaching Assistant who can support early years pupils in a primary setting. The role is offered on a contract basis via Spennymoor Supply Teaching Partnership, with a daily rate of £94.95 and a requirement for recent school-based experience.

Successful applicants will undergo an enhanced DBS check; relevant Level 2+ childcare qualification is desirable, though substantial relevant experience may be considered in lieu.

Qualifications

• Recent practical experience with children in Early Years or KS1 in a school, nursery or care setting.
• Desirable Level 2+ childcare qualification, though experience may be considered in lieu.
• All appointments require an enhanced DBS check as part of safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily learning activities and routines.
• Provide one-to-one support to pupils as needed.
• Help maintain a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
