Job summary

The Education Network are working with a school in Spennymoor to appoint a Teaching Assistant with experience of working with children in EYFS. You should have recent experience supporting children in Early Years or KS1, in a school, nursery or care setting.

A Level 2 or higher child care qualification is preferred but not essential. The Education Network is committed to Safer Recruitment and all appointments require enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding checks.

Job description

The Education Network are working with a school in Spennymoor who are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant with a background in working with children in EYFS.

The successful candidate must have recent experience of supporting children in Early Years/KS1. This can be in a School, Nursery or care environment.

Ideally you should have a relevant qualification (Level 2 or above) in the child care sector but this may not be a necessity depending on your experience.

Our Durham office works specifically with schools across Durham and as well as this position the Education network have a number of day to day and long term supply assignments.
