Job summary

Cheetwood Primary School is seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our EYFS team in Manchester. The role focuses on supporting early learning through play, communication, and development, alongside a committed team.

The successful candidate will work primarily in EYFS, contributing to a pupil-centred approach and upholding our school values. A Level 2 TA qualification and safeguarding commitment are essential, with a 35-hour week and 26,427–26,847 salary.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent Level 2 Award).
• Experience working within EYFS and understanding of child development.
• Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and the wellbeing of all pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support high-quality teaching and learning within EYFS and help children reach early developmental milestones.
• Deliver small-group and 1:1 intervention as directed by class teachers.
• Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment reflecting our ethos and values.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
