Job summary

Pucklechurch CE VC Primary is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the team for 32.5 hours per week during term time. The role involves supporting early years learners, helping with classroom activities and lunchtime supervision, while promoting inclusive practices and a positive learning environment.

The successful candidate will be committed to high standards, have a collaborative approach with staff, and contribute to children’s overall development in a supportive church-aligned school

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant in an EYFS setting preferred.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the EYFS setting to achieve learning goals.
• Assist with lunchbreak supervision and pupil safety.
• Foster inclusion, positive relationships and high standards of achievement.
