Job summary

Redhill Primary School is seeking a caring and reliable Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our lunchtime team on a part-time, fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027. The role supports Nursery children during lunchtime, helping with routines, eating, hygiene and social interaction in a safe, nurturing environment.

Applicants should have experience with young children and be able to work effectively with the Early Years team while upholding safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young children, ideally in an Early Years setting.
• Be patient, caring and able to build positive relationships with children.
• Support children with eating, hygiene and social interaction during lunchtime.
• Work effectively as part of the Early Years team.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support Nursery children during lunchtime, assisting with routines and wellbeing.
