Job summary

Aspire People, in partnership with a school in Loughborough, is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role. You’ll be based in one school, Monday to Friday, helping young learners with their early development and forming strong bonds with staff and pupils.

Applicants should have experience with children and EYFS, with a desirable Level 2/3 Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification. DBS transparency or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is essential.
• Experience within an EYFS setting would be ideal.
• A Level 2/3 Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Genuine enjoyment of working with young children.
• Patient, caring and reliable approach.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.
• Willing to obtain a DBS if not held already.

Responsibilities

• Based in one school, Monday to Friday, to build positive relationships with children.
• Provide supportive assistance under the guidance of teaching staff.
• Contribute to children's early learning and development progress.
• Receive dedicated support from your Aspire People consultant.

You'll be based in one school, Monday to Friday, giving you the chance to build positive relationships with the children and become a familiar and valued member of the team.

What we're looking for:

• A valid DBS on the Update Service is desirable, but if you don't currently have one, you must be willing to obtain one
