Job summary

Academics are seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to support our primary schools and Early Years settings across Rickmansworth. This role offers local temporary, long-term and potential permanent opportunities with a supportive team.

The ideal candidate will have EYFS experience, strong communication, safeguarding awareness and a caring, professional approach to helping children develop confidence and learn through play.

Qualifications

• Experience in Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable.
• Strong communication and safeguarding awareness.
• Experience supporting children with SEND valued.

Responsibilities

• Support children across nursery, Reception and pre-school settings.
• Help develop confidence, communication and independence through play.
• Build positive relationships with children and staff.
• Work with education settings on EYFS activities.
